It all started with one small store almost 60 years ago. It was September 1953 when Mr. Wilford Wilcox opened up the first Wilcox Furniture here in Corpus Christi.

Originally located on Lexington Avenue (now known as South Padre Island Dr or SPID for short), Mr. Wilcox was focused on providing the best furniture at the best prices. Not only was the furniture of good quality, but so was the service. Furniture delivery made shopping at Wilcox even more convenient!
Our service since then has not changed. Our aim is to serve our customers more efficiently. We work very hard to have a great selection of furniture for each room of the house so that our customers can build a better quality of life in their home. All the members of our staff are trained, and kept up-to-date on any, and all, things new in the industry. Our Sales staff is equipped with PDA's to make all of your purchases faster and easier. Even our delivery trucks are cutting-edge, all supplied with a GPS tracker!
We strive to improve every aspect of our business so that we can continue to satisfy our customers every day; and so far, we've done just that! We've remodeled stores and vamped up our infrastructure to help give our customers a more convenient and pleasant shopping experience. Now with two locations in Corpus Christi, and one in Kingsville, we are better able to serve the entire South Texas area!
